Gifts of Securities

Donating publicly traded securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) is one of the most tax-effective ways to support the Trinity Christian School Campaign. When you transfer securities directly to the campaign, you pay no capital gains tax on the appreciation, and you receive a donation receipt for the full market value on the day of transfer.

This unified approach strengthens student relationships, fosters mentorship, generates operational efficiencies, and ensures more resources go directly to learning and mission-focused programs.
The campaign has a financial goal of $30 million. This community investment covers the construction of a new high school building, expansion of the middle school facilities, permits, professional fees, furniture, equipment, and contingencies.
The budget is structured as follows: Construction & Contingencies ($24.5M / 81.7%), Permits, Fees & Professional Costs ($2.865M / 9.6%), Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment ($1.5M / 5.0%), HST non-recoverable ($635K / 2.0%), and Escalation ($500K / 1.7%).
Yes. Donors are welcome to structure their pledges over a period of three to five years to make their leadership gifts as manageable and impactful as possible. Please contact our campaign office to discuss scheduling options.
